What is Mounjaro?

You might have been hearing quite a bit about Mounjaro (tirzepatide). This weight loss medicine has been available in the United States since 2022 for treating diabetes, and was approved in 2023 under the brand name Zepbound for use in weight management alongside a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity. Mounjaro is now available in the UK with a prescription. An injection pen you need to use just once a week, Mounjaro helps to reduce appetite and curb cravings.
