New to home tests?

Just like your local GP or GUM clinic, we can help you get the tests and advice you need.

Our chlamydia gonorrhoea trichomoniasis home test kit is an accurate laboratory test that checks for genital chlamydia, genital gonorrhoea and genital trichomoniasis.

Collect a sample at home using the kit we provide, then mail it back to our partner laboratory.

If the test shows you have chlamydia or trichomoniasis, you and any partners can use our chlamydia or trichomoniasis treatment service to get the antibiotics you need, providing it’s suitable for you. There’s a separate charge to get treated.

If you test positive for gonorrhoea or you test positive for a combination of 2 or 3 infections, you and any partners will need to go to a clinic for treatment.

If you start to show symptoms before you get your results you must visit your GP or health clinic.

The test kit is unlikely to detect chlamydia, gonorrhoea or trichomoniasis if you got it in the last two weeks.

Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, trichomoniasis — why you should get tested

Chlamydia, gonorrhoea and trichomoniasis are all common sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in the UK. You can get chlamydia, gonorrhoea and trichomoniasis in your genitals, throat or anus. This test kit is for genital chlamydia, genital gonorrhoea and genital trichomoniasis.

If you have a new sexual partner or you’re worried you may have been exposed to someone else with chlamydia or gonorrhoea you should get tested.

If you’ve got chlamydia, gonorrhoea or trichomoniasis symptoms, we can’t offer you a test or treatment. You must visit your GP or health clinic. It’s important to get treated because if left untreated it can lead to long-term health problems.
