What is the thyroid?
The thyroid is a little gland at the front of your neck, shaped like a bow tie, which helps all of the cells of your body to work in balance and at the right speed, it releases thyroid hormones to do this.
What are the symptoms of an underactive thyroid?
If you have an underactive thyroid, you may feel sluggish, tired or depressed. You may experience dry skin, hair or nails, constipation or weight gain.
How do I understand my results?
