About
Mir Alam graduated with a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Nottingham in 2016. After qualifying, Mir worked for Boots providing essential services to the community. He then went on to work as a clinical pharmacist in a GP practice in London as well as with a practice specialising in homeless patients. During this time he specialised in prescribing for patients with type 2 diabetes.
Mir joined Boots Online Doctor as a pharmacist independent prescriber in August 2022. He is excited to be part of the expert team bringing convenient, efficient care and advice to patients to help them improve their health and wellbeing.

Interests
Mir likes to travel and is a massive foodie, so enjoys trying new foods in new places. He’s a huge Arsenal Fan and also loves playing football, going to the gym, and has recently started boxing.
