About
Karen d'Almeida has over 10 years of experience in various pharmacy settings. She’s worked in community pharmacy management and as a clinical pharmacist prescriber within multiple GP surgeries.
In addition to this, Karen worked in the private sector, becoming a senior pharmacist prescriber at the Belgravia Hair Loss Clinic. She also spent time as a remote prescriber for Dermatica, where she experienced how clinical services can be delivered efficiently through digital innovations.
Karen joined Boots Online Doctor as a senior pharmacist independent prescriber in 2021.

Interests
Committed to helping 17-18 year olds avoid post-grad depression, Karen hosts a monthly 1-2-1 online workshop to help participants choose a career path based on realistic goals and cost of living calculations. For fun she likes walking, reality tv shows, and eating cashews while reading a heart-wrenching romance novel!
