Meet our Clinical Team
Dr David Gwynne is Deputy Chief Medical Officer, joining the team in 2021. He is passionate about driving innovative online healthcare and has a specialist interest in Men’s Health.
Dr Anju graduated from Imperial College London in 2002. She is the clinical lead for Weight Loss, Menopause and GP Education. She also works as a locum GP and medical examiner.
Dr Hawwa joined the team in 2022. With a background in primary care, she has a special interest in women’s health and mental health. She is clinical lead for Antibiotic Stewardship.
Alison is a nurse independent prescriber specialising in contraception and sexual health. She also works at a sexual health clinic and in a school nursing team.
Hitesh has worked in both community pharmacy and as a clinical pharmacist. He is Head of Non-Medical Clinicians with specialist interest in period pain, and diabetes and thyroid test kits.
Mandeep has gained experience in various clinical and management roles in community and hospital pharmacy over a 15-year career. She joined Boots Online Doctor in January 2022.
Dr Nikki works as a GP for Boots Online Doctor and in an NHS practice. She is passionate about holistic care and the transformative possibilities of online medicine.
Pooja joined the team in 2021 as a pharmacist independent prescriber and is now Senior Clinical Operations Lead. She has a special interest in Women’s Health.
Dr Sam is a GP, yoga and nutritional therapist, writer and meditation teacher. She believes in taking a holistic approach to care and is joint Clinical Lead for Lifestyle Medicine with a focus on weight loss.
Dr Zahra is a GP with extensive experience in digital healthcare. She has a special interest in migraine treatment, and women’s health and menopause.
Dr Neera is a GP and Clinical Lead for our Depression and Anxiety services. A safeguarding and mental health expert, she helps ensure services are both efficient and safe.
Dr Mark joined Boots Online Doctor in December 2022 as a GP and Clinical Lead for Men’s Health and LGBTQ+ Medicine.
Andrew is a nurse independent prescriber with extensive experience in sexual and reproductive health. He believes in the importance of inclusive, accessible healthcare.
Originally from Ireland, Kevin has lived and practised in England for over a decade. He joined Boots Online Doctor as a pharmacist independent prescriber in April 2022.
Sara worked in a number of NHS GP practices before joining Boots Online Doctor as a pharmacist independent prescriber. She has a special interest in men’s health.
Vanisha is a pharmacist independent prescriber who’s worked extensively in various pharmacy settings. She has a special interest in emergency contraception, acne and rosacea services.
Rupa has over 18 years of community pharmacy experience. As a pharmacist independent prescriber for Boots Online Doctor, she specialises in the morning after pill and cystitis.
Uday has a range of experience from working both in community pharmacy and GP practices. He is the pharmacist independent prescriber lead for men’s health services.
Mir worked both in community pharmacy and within GP practices before joining the team in August 2022. His specialist areas are asthma and skin concerns, including acne and eczema.
Akuac has worked in multiple pharmacy settings. She is the pharmacist independent prescriber for menopause and also has a special interest in mental health.
Karen has over 10 years’ experience in various settings, including the NHS, private sector and telemedicine. She joined the team as a senior pharmacist independent prescriber in 2021.
Saloni has experience in community pharmacy, the pharmaceutical industry and NHS primary care. She joined the team as a pharmacist independent prescriber in September 2022.
Ruth is a BANT Registered Nutritionist®, health and wellness coach and registered nurse. She is passionate about lifestyle medicine and supporting people to improve their health and quality of life.
Ramandeep joined the team as a pharmacy technician in July 2022. Prior to this, she worked in both community and hospital pharmacy settings.
Dr Sarah is a GP and trained physiotherapist. Joint Clinical Lead for Lifestyle Medicine, she’s committed to helping patients improve the quality of their health and wellbeing through positive lifestyle change.
Mahsa has worked in Boots in-store pharmacies since qualifying in 2011. She joined the Boots Online Doctor team in January 2022 as a pharmacist independent prescriber.
Sanam is a pharmacist independent prescriber. She graduated from University College London in 2003, following which she worked in both community and clinical pharmacy.
Kevin is a pharmacist independent prescriber. He has worked as both a clinical and community pharmacist and aspires to open up patient access to healthcare.
Maleik has almost 20 years’ experience across clinical and primary care settings. He joined the Boots Online Doctor team in 2021 and is a senior pharmacist independent prescriber.
Juanne joined the team as a pharmacist independent prescriber in September 2022 after experience working in various community and clinical settings.
Rajiv has a wealth of experience in both private and NHS pharmacy settings. He joined Boots Online Doctor as a pharmacist independent prescriber in October 2022.
Hana is a pharmacist independent prescriber with a decade of experience in various pharmacy settings. She has a special interest in the morning after pill and cystitis treatments.
Sirena joined the team as a pharmacy technician in June 2022. Before this she worked in community pharmacy for over a decade with Boots.
Johanna joined the Boots Online Doctor team as a registered nurse in January 2023. She has a specialist interest in women’s health and menopause treatment.
Dr Susie graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas's School of Medicine in 2008, with further studies in clinical dermatology and women’s health. She is Clinical Lead for Acne & Skin.
Natalie has over twenty years of experience, working as a community pharmacist and later for online clinics. She has a special interest in travel and women’s health services.
Dr Megha graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2009. She is one of our GPs and Clinical Lead for Sexual Health and Testing Services.
Dr Naa works as a GP in an NHS practice in South London alongside her role at Boots Online Doctor. She is Clinical Lead for Asthma, Anaphylaxis and Hayfever.
Meera is a pharmacist independent prescriber who works across different Boots settings. She has a special interest in the management and treatment of acne and skin conditions.
Jurgita joined the team as a pharmacy technician in July 2022, coming from a clinical hospital setting. She has a special interest in supporting patients with their mental health.
Aayesha has worked in GP practices and community pharmacies across London, joining Boots Online Doctor in January 2023. She has a particular interest in women's health.
Bhumi joined the team in November 2022 as a pharmacist independent prescriber. She has previously worked as a community, hospital, outpatient and practice-based pharmacist.
Dr Hina has a wide range of experience in different medical specialties. She joined the team in 2021 as one of our GPs and is Clinical Lead for Sexual Health and Testing Services.
Paul has a wealth of experience working as a pharmacist and independent prescriber in various settings. He is passionate about patient care and helping people get the treatment they need.
Norah joined the Boots Online Doctor team in November 2022. She has a wide range of experience across clinical and digital pharmacy.
Dr Noor has worked in a range of private and NHS GP practices across the UK. She has a special interest in women’s health, mental health and skin conditions in people of colour.
Dr Meena has been working with Boots Online Doctor as a GP since April 2021. She is Clinical Lead for our Acne & Skin and Mental Health services.

Lorenz joined the team as a registered nurse in June 2023. He is an experienced educator and enjoys supporting both the public and his colleagues in the digital healthcare arena.
Morgan joined the team as a pharmacist independent prescriber in June 2023, after experience working as a community pharmacist and clinical GP pharmacist.
Angeliki is a registered nurse with experience working across various clinical settings. She has a specialist focus on our general health and weight loss services.
Jia joined the team in April 2023 with experience in both community and clinical pharmacy. She has a special interest in women’s health issues, weight loss and mental health.
