Our chlamydia gonorrhoea home test kit for men who have sex with men is an accurate laboratory test that checks for chlamydia and gonorrhoea in the genitals, anus and throat.
Collect the samples at home using the kit we provide, then mail it back to our partner laboratory.
If the test shows you have genital or throat chlamydia, you and any partners can use our chlamydia treatment service to get the antibiotics you need, providing treatment is suitable for you. There’s a separate charge to get treated.
If you test positive for anal chlamydia or both chlamydia and gonorrhoea or just gonorrhoea you and any partners will need to go to a clinic for treatment.
If you start to show symptoms before you get your results you must visit your GP or health clinic.
The test kit is unlikely to detect chlamydia or gonorrhoea if you got either of them in the last two weeks.
GET STARTEDChlamydia and gonorrhoea are both common sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in the UK. You can get chlamydia and gonorrhoea in your genitals, throat or anus. This test is for both infections in all three places of the body.
If you have a new sexual partner or you’re worried you may have been exposed to someone else with chlamydia or gonorrhoea you should get tested.
If you’ve got chlamydia or gonorrhoea symptoms, we can’t offer you a test or treatment. You must visit your GP or health clinic. It’s important to get treated because if left untreated it can lead to long-term health problems.
GET STARTEDWe have a range of STI home test kits available. Our service is confidential and you can take your test in the privacy of your own home or anywhere else you choose.
We recommend you get tested if you have a new sexual partner, more than one sexual partner, are worried that you might have been exposed to an STI or if you’ve had sex without a condom.
