About

Lorenz Asuncion joined the Boots Online Doctor team in June 2023 as a registered nurse. In addition to this role, he also works as a part-time specialist nurse interviewer and a freelance OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) trainer for pre-registered international nurses. He previously worked as a practice educator for Theatres and Recovery.

Lorenz believes that online GPs and digital healthcare play an important role in maximising the care of the public, promoting accessibility and confidentiality. With healthcare easily reached through a mobile phone or app, the possibilities for early prevention and management are greatly increased.

Interests

Lorenz loves to travel and to cook Asian and Mediterranean dishes. He recently opened his own café back home in the Philippines and is looking to invest more there and hire working students. He has a passion for recruitment and mentoring fellow nurses.
