About

Dr Samantha Wellappili graduated from The University of Birmingham’s medical school in 2005. After spending time in Acute Medicine and Psychiatry, Dr Sam went on to complete GP training in London.

She joined Boots Online Doctor in February 2021 and loves working in such an innovative and enthusiastic team. She’s passionate about holistic care and believes it’s vital to focus on long-term positive health outcomes through lifestyle and behaviour transformation.

Alongside her role at Boots Online Doctor, Dr Sam works as a clinical examiner for the General Medical Council and is a mindset and empowerment coach working with individuals, groups and corporations to build balance, self-care and purpose for wellbeing.

Interests

Spiritual practice is a crucial part of Dr Sam’s day. She finds meditation, breathwork, sea swimming, being immersed in nature and embodiment practices help her stay balanced, focused and able to bring positive energy and enthusiasm to all her interactions. She also holds postgraduate diplomas in Nutritional Therapy and Yoga Therapy, and is a meditation teacher and facilitator.
